The Texas Land Office and Texas Water Commission successfully used ‘oil eating’ microbes to clean up large oil spills in just weeks. Microbes hunt down and eat the toxic oil and leave only a biodegradable waste that is non-toxic to humans and marine life. Marshland and beaches were pristine again in just weeks – not years like the Exxon Valdez spill. This is the answer to save the seafood industry and all the precious creatures we are about to kill.
BP has screwed it up from the beginning. They’ve used dispersant which is toxic to sea life. Then they’ve prevented the oil from rising to the surface where the biological methods of oil neutralization shown in this video can be used. BP has ensured massive damage to the gulf and toxic inhalation of gulf coast residents of the vapourous fumes from the crude oil and dispersants that will kill or seriously injure many people.
There are many proven, effective and safe ways to deal with crude oil. Microbes are just one. Why are these methods not being used? Where is the political leadership? The fact that BP Is using chemicals that are dangerous and ineffective strongly supports the conclusion that BP is trying to kill the gulf.
The effects of the Gulf Oil Spill have yet to be felt. The greatest environmental disaster that has ever occurred could be looming a few miles Offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. We have to act fast to ensure that the Gulf oil spill cleanup happens quickly and properly. Using dispersants is like spraying poison on top of the Gulf Oil Spill. Using booms and buoys in oil spill cleanup is a waste of time in the open waters of the Gulf because globlets of oil usually floats below the surface to a depth of about two feet. Sensitive marine life such as crabs, oysters and fish will be destroyed if the oil reaches them—and if any do survive they will be toxic for humans to consume for years. The best solution for Oil Spill Cleanup is “Oil Eating Microbes”. Microbes are found in nature and are programmed for a specific task. Oil eating microbes have proven to be safe for wildlife, marine life and humans—and they are the most effective method of Oil spill cleanup.
Please circulate this excellent seven minute video to everyone you know.
